Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Telfer's World! Beginning in 2009 the annual Christmas Gift Exchange was transformed into an annual charity giving event. The money that we would be spending on gifts goes instead to one charity, selected by the family.
This year, 2011 the selected charity is Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. Family members (and friends, if they so desire) may use the online donation form to contribute to the fund. Funds will be collected through December 31, 2011 after which all money raised will be sent directly to the charity. In 2009 we donated $575 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
In 2010 we donated $1,050 The Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).
